| [TAIPEI, TAIWAN, 22 February 2006] Along with the growth of the Internet population domestically, e-marketing has become increasingly popular this century. Therefore, the Information Service Industry Association of R.O.C. (CISA) has joined CCMedia and SecureUni Technologies Co. to hold a series of three seminars on e-marketing, officially beginning on Tuesday, March 14. The first seminar will focus on website management principles and how to capture invisible online consumers.
CISA believes that domestic online marketers can benefit from an international perspective. By inviting CCMedia Group Chief Operating Officer Young-Soo Lee to Taiwan to share his experience, CISA hopes to elucidate domestic online marketers on Korean methods in grasping customer behavior and using this information to plan effective one-to-one customer services. Lee will use Namyang Dairy (equivalent of Taiwan's dairy giant Uni-President) and CJmall, a shopping site with 4.5 million members, as models for his keys to success. In addition, Chung Yuan Christian University Associate Professor Su Houn Vandy Liu will also be on hand to discuss the problems with domestic e-marketing management and how to utilize the remnants of consumer browsing to design different strategies.
Lee emphasizes that 2006 represents the second wave of Internet popularity, which will further personalize and categorize e-marketing. Thus, success stories in Korea will be used to explain future trends. Namyang Dairy's transformation from applying actual conduits to virtual channels will be examined to see how web analytics create data of substance. The secret behind shopping site CJmall's valuable one-to-one services will also be revealed.
A part of Chung Yuan's Department of Management Information Systems, Liu will provide an academic viewpoint on how to modify an e-marketing mode that passively waits for visitors and how to track customer behavior through virtual channels. Liu will also share real life examples on how to decode massive customer behavior data in designing different strategies.
CCMedia Group stresses that the Internet population has surpassed 13 million users domestically, and the potential of e-business as an enormous opportunity is apparent to everyone. The key to the future of marketing is not just about controlling channels. Accurate behavior data collection and analysis as well as initiative installation response will also be critical to be e-business success. Recently, Fortune 500 companies are actively using advanced web analytics tools in unlocking the secrets of online behavior. The e-marketing mission for enterprises is to find effective ways to advertise and disseminate information.
The first seminar is free and will be held on Tuesday, March 14, in the Aegius Club banquet hall. Professionals from all industries are welcome to attend and learn how to utilize an accurate web analytics tool in optimizing marketing resources. |
